April was the last update on this blog; I guess that’s what happens when love is in the air… Lectures, assignments and books to read were not everything on my mind. I have been on local gigs seeing some of my old friends, been out fishing, changed apartment, gone for a cruising or two and spent time with my boyfriend and family.
Our last course at Högskolan Dalarna this semester took us a lot of effort but it was so much fun to see the campaigns that were created. It was a great way to learn what commercial business is all about. While doing our campaign I had a few days introduction on my summer job: care for elderly people. Busy times! I have also been on a high school graduation party and like so many other Swedes we celebrated “midsommar” with the tradition of raising the maypole and eating bunches of food. Yummy!
Now things are back to “normal” though, and I hope to update more often. Erica and the other bloggers are doing a great job, I think! That’s my way to get the latest news from Peace & Love when I can’t be there myself 
Well, I’d better go making lunch and next stop is Falu city. See ya!

It’s been a while now, since this blog was updated. Some other things had to be done before I could take the time to write a new entry. My inspiration for this comment is the bus traffic in Dalarna; it’s expensive! Travelling between Falun and Borlänge is 37 Sek if you have turned 20, which most students at Högskolan Dalarna have. I think it’s ridiculous! If you are a student in Falun and you have a lecture in Borlänge you have to pay almost 100 Sek for your bus trip – and 100 Sek is a lot of money (the start of one million Swedish crowns)! I think that most of us would like to spend our money on other, more important and fun things than bus trips. Several students don’t have extra jobs and taking a loan is a stress moment to many people…
So, why doesn’t Dalatrafik benefit students in Dalarna county? – that’s the question!

What to (possibly) make of your day when you are a student:
- Have a good breakfast. – Check Facebook – Drink some coffee! – Do the washing machine boogie.. Do some shopping in town 
– Send a text message. – Chill! – Check Facebook.. – Eat lunch! – Call a friend 
Go for a walk! – Be a good girl/boy and do some studying. – Have another cup of coffee! – Check Facebook again… – Cook supper and eat – Chill! – Check Facebook one more time.. – See a friend and have some fun – Check out Facebook one last time..(!). – Get ready, go to bed and sleep tight.

The passed week I’ve heard quite a few people who are tired of the winter.. why?
Sure there are times when I long for green grass, evenings by the lake, and music festivals etc. but yet I like the snow! For once we haven’t had any slushy weather, it’s been cold enough to kill a good part of all the tics and mosquitos that usually bothers us in the summertime. I can see why those who stick in the traffic are annoyed by the weather but in the same time I wonder why there’s such a stress?! I’m just glad that the sun is shining.. but that’s me
I’m also happy that this new course of ours seems to be fun! Finally we’ll have some lectures at Mediahuset. More over it’s getting closer to the weekend, wihoo!

A day filled with activities..
Today was a busy day! Wayne’s Coffee is a good place to have a study session, and the library is too! We got a lot done on our assignment and are ready to have the presentation tomorrow. I did not stop by at Kåren but I got to eat a cream puff anyway, and I got a late Valentine’s card from my American family. That made me so happy! <3

Release!
It seemed like a lot of the students at Högskolan Dalarna were interested by the magazine at the release. Hopfully all copies will be handed out, that would be great!
I’m doing some castigations on the texts for the next edition of kelen right now. Feels pretty good to be inside since it is snowing – even though I like the snow! A cup of tea and some good music is what’s keeping me company while I’m writing. Sweet! There is a lot that has to get done during the upcoming days; except the texts, we have a seminar on Thursday that I have to study for and then I’ve been asked to help out one of the instructors at my line dance club tomorrow night. I bet it will be a lot of fun but since I haven’t taught in a while I’m a little bit nervous! Keep your fingers crossed!
Now it’s time to get back to work anyway..

Hopefully things go well! Yesterday I went to Kåren with some of the staff from kelen to preview the magazine that will be out on monday (release at the media house and on campus in Falun). Looking good! It seemed like the other girls were pleased as well.

Welcome again winter!
White flakes are falling. I don’t remember when we had a winter with this much snow last time…
It is really beautiful! (Although I didn’t think so walking to campus yesterday, it was stormy and cold.) We had a seminar then, analyzing adds. I think it went well and it was interesting to hear the other students’ perspectives and seeing all the pictures. Coming home afterwards I filled in some job applications and then I ate some garlic, drank some tea and went to sleep trying to cure my cold. I think it worked because I feel a whole lot better today. Yay!!
Now I’m packing to go home for the weekend. I hope the bus is still going even though it is snowing!
